Witness that their support group runs regularly.
Should have a bariatric manager, dietician, physician co coordinator, endocrinologist and awell equipped ICU back up.
Witness long term results by talking to patients operated 5 years ago.
Read publications and know about research being conducted in a unit
Confirm single use policy
Low cost bariatric surgery may not permit single use policy for disposables during surgery
Choose a surgeon which performs all types of bariatric surgery and advanced lap surgery
Obese friendly infrastructure and a staff will always given the first hint
