Bariatric Surgery improves Sexual Function in the Obese

A Majority of Obese Indian patients suffering from Type-2 diabetes suffer from greater sexual dysfunction than others, shows a study presented by Obesity Expert from Pune Dr. Shashank Shah at the two-day conference Obecon 2016 in Goa.  Obese people have pure sexual life.  But the condition of obese people suffering from Type-2 Diabetes are even worse. said Dr. Shah, founder of Laparo-Obeso Centre, Pune and founder of DODF (Defeat Obesity and Diabetes Foundation).

A Pioneer in bariatric surgery in the country, Dr. Shah said 70% of people who had a BMI of more than 40 have some grade of sexual dysfunction and that after bariatric surgery, 95% of these patients have shown improvement in their sexual function
