On behalf of the International Bariatric Club, Dr. Shashank Shah was invited for a program: Hot Topics in Bariatrics International Guidelines for Metabolic Surgery on December 14th, 2016. Dr. Shah participated as an International Expert in the discussion. He was the only Indian Surgeon and one of the 8 surgeons who were invited for this program.
The aim of the program was to educate bariatric surgeons and other healthcare professionals, as well as general public by providing a practical guidelines on metabolic surgery. The program was broadcasted in real-time via IBC Facebook Live, YouTube channel, and other sources. After light editing, it will be permanently available offline to a broad audience. We estimate about 10.000- 15.000 viewers.
